St John's UMC

United Women In Faith

United Methodist Women is open to women of all faiths – you don’t have to be a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church – or a United Methodist – or pay a fee – to belong. Joining the UMW is a wonderful way to make new friends, to have fellowship time, to grow spiritually and to serve others.

St John’s UMW unit is an active group of over 100 members. It is comprised of six circles (small groups): three that meet on a regular basis; the Friends (UMW members at large) and Kaleidoscope (girls in high school through college) circles, which do not meet, but support the UMW’s programs; and the Sunshine Circle, which does not meet, but keeps in touch with and gives support to shut-ins, caregivers, the sick, the bereaved, and those in crisis.

Why Choose Us

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English.
